The 2010/11 Season of the Shell Classic International series of visiting international orchestras is one of Southbank Centre’s most adventurous and exciting to date, mixing the finest radical young and established musicians of international renown.

Shell Classic International opens on 12 and 14 October with a bang, building on Southbank Centre’s ongoing relationship with El Sistema, Venezuela’s revolutionary social programme, which engages more than 300,000 young people.
