Stamps released to celebrate 10th birthday of London Eye
The London Eye, one of London’s most recognizable tourist attractions is ten years old! To celebrate the Royal Mail has released a collection of stamps.
The London Eye Commemorative Sheet features 10 big wheel-themed images.
They include views of London from the Eye, the wheel on the skyline and a sketch entered into the competition in 1993 to create a millennium landmark.
More than 38 million visitors have enjoyed panoramic views of the capital since the London Eye went up on the South Bank in 2000.
