1)    Markets – Check out the wide variety of markets that London has to offer.. Whether it is Borough for food or Portobello for antiques or Camden for the atmosphere and “nick nacks”, London has loads of markets to suit everyone’s tastes!
     

2)    Museums & Galleries – All museums in London are free to enter (although some special exhibitions require an extra payment) so get your intellectual hat on, and visit one of our great places. Whether it is Science, or History or some great modern art, it is all here in London.
     

3)    Parks (more for the summer) – But there are loads of things going on in London parks through the summer. Whether it is a leisurely stroll spotting the beautifully sculptured memorials in Hyde Park, having a row on the rowing pond in Regents Park, or walking around Hampstead Heath and climbing up Parliament Hill to see the most amazing views of London. The parks of London are great places to take a moment out of the hustle and bustle. Why not take a coffee or a picnic and enjoy the views, peace or just the people watching!
     

4)    Eating – There are loads of great places to eat in London and not all of them have to cost an arm and a leg! There are loads of websites like toptable.co.uk that offer amazing discounts and some amazing restaurants. There are also areas such as Shoreditch (specifically around Brick Lane) where there are loads of ethnic restaurants (Indian, Vietnamese etc.) that offer great food, at great prices and you can BYO (Bring Your Own) booze too!
     
     
5)    Theatre/ Shows – There are so many shows in London, going on all year round, but if you are willing to gamble a bit, you can great deals on the day, depending on the day of the week and time of the year. There are the stands in Leicester square, or if you are more specific in the show you want to see, you can go straight to the theatre box office (that normally opens at 10am) to see what offers they have!
