This is another highlight from the Southbank Centre’s International Chamber Music Season 2010/11, which brings some of the greatest names in classical music to London.

El Sistema is the legendary project in Venezuela which takes young people from the poorest backgrounds and introduces them to that nation’s youth orchestras. The Simon Boli var Youth Orchestra is its most famous output, and it’s from those ranks that the Venezuelan Brass Ensemble is drawn.
